Redesign of a Logo

PWG Media's new logo


PWG Media's logo was boring and didn't reflect the professionalism and branding that the owner wanted to project. The Century Schoolbook font felt outdated, and there was nothing conceptual about either logo.

We explored (in great detail) different logo options. Paul had a blue that he wanted to use, but other than that, the field was wide open.

Logo exploration.


The new logo is modern and conceptual. The logo mark forms both a “P” and a video play symbol. There is also movement in the formation of a triangle that points forward (from a Western-centric viewpoint anyway). PWG Media, represented in a clean sans serif font, seems to flow from the “play button.” Also, the colors allow for clean and professional, yet bright and cheery branding.
